Zebrafish genotyping

To accelerate your research, Floragenex offers both a pooled mapping service and individual tracking of samples using our exclusive RAD marker system and Illumina Genome Analyzer technology.

RAD Analysis is currently up and running for mapping mutants in Zebrafish. For standard mapping of recessive traits, we require DNA from the P0 (grandparent) strains (or other ancestral line, i.e. AB, WIK) as well as pooled mutant F2 homozygotes.

Floragenex offers two basic services to zebrafish researchers. More options are coming soon.

• Pooled samples: using bulk segregate analysis to evaluate populations, we can work with multiple pools per project.
• Individual genotyping: evaluating up to 48 individuals in a single experiment.
